In-class Writing Activity

Dear Ms.Guarino, there are something I must tell you before the class start.  First, I apologize that I am not in dress code. Second, I am sorry that I don't have my bag and iPad with me. Third, Can I give you my homework tomorrow. Also I will talk about my last execuse at last; I hope you can understand me. Here is my story about why I didn't have my homework. Oh, sorry is my reason why I didn't have my homework.

It was a cold and windy morning. I got up early and decided to have breakfast in McDonald's instead of dining hall where have the same food everyday. Everything seems normal, except I heared somebody is screaming " he~p, he~p" Because it was far away from me, I couldn't hear it clearly. I knew I need to go and check, although it was 10 minutes to class. After a long walk, I saw a pound and a cat is drowning. I knew that I need to help; I jumped into the cold water to grap the cat, and swim as fast as I could to get out of that pound, because of that I lose my bag and iPad. However,  I knew saving a life is important than any thing else, so I believe that you will forgive me, because you are a kind-hearted teacher who also love cats. Finally, my last execuse is I am sorry that I might not be here today, because I need to change my dresscode and give the cat back to its owner. Ps. Don't go to Cheshire Coffee. I am not there. Luckily, I photoed a picture of my homework last night. Can it count as my assignment grade?
