Day dreaming

My mom used to tell me that the life of a pig is only sleep and eat. She tell me this story as a joke, because she thinks nobody is going to live like that. However, I experienced the same kind of life during Thanksgiving break which will really disappointed my mother, if she knows. Luckily, there was still some difference; I need to take care of one of my best friends and play with it which is my dear laptop and go shopping with my friend which help me survived from starving. Let me show you the schedule of a day from my break.

The sun rise high in the sky and spread the sunshine all over in the room. “ding~ding~ding” after the 10th time shut off the alarm clock, I know it is the time to get up. It is already 1 pm and my stomach is calling for food. I rush to bathroom and quickly finish up cleaning. My next step is waking up my friend who is the leader of this lifestyle. All I need to do is throw his blanket away, and open window to invite the wind from a lovely winter to come inside. After that, all I need to do is playing with my friend laptop while waiting for my friend to feel cold and hungry and decide to drive us to the restaurant. Unfortunately, we always have different ideas on food; I prefer a Chinese restaurant called Si Chuan which I have already talk about in my another blog post. They serve spicy and delicious Chinese food which I think is ten times better then Dragon Buffet. My friend like to eat Korean food which have spicy rice cake and different kind of fried rice. Because both of them are good, we rotate the order of them to at least make some changes on our life, so it won’t seems like is always repeat. You may ask, why not American food? I won’t tell you we cross that out from our food list after the first time we be there, After having a wonderful lunch, we go to the supermarket nearby to get the food for night. Water, fruit, Yogurt and some snacks are our supper. Then we go back home and spent the whole evening on watching TV show and playing video games. Sometimes we may go to movie theater. Although there are not many good movies. My bedtime is usually around 2 to 3 am. Don’t ask me why? My friends told me that is what we should do on holidays. Besides these normal days, we have a two day trips in Boston to buy clothing for the new year.

As you ca see, how “exciting” my Thanksgiving break is. To tell you the truth, I feel really good when I come back to school, besides I really miss the food there. Now I am looking forward to winter break and I know it would be much more exciting then thanksgiving because China is waiting for me.
